At Nottingham City Centre Lashes, full sets and infills of classic semi-permanent eyelash extensions are offered by a fully qualified lash technician.

Now based in Mapperley, just off of Winchester Street, I pride myself on outstanding customer service and attention to detail.

On street parking is available without a residents permit on weekends.

What are semi-permanent eyelash extensions?

Semi-permanent eyelash extensions are the perfect way to achieve long, thick and full lashes without having to layer mascara on and without the tedious job of removing it at the end of the day. A single synthetic Mink lash extension is applied carefully to a single natural lash using a lash adhesive (specially formulated for use on the eyes - the particular adhesive I use is a sensitive formula adhesive to reduce any chance of reaction).

How long do semi-permanent lash extensions last?

This depends on each individual clients lash cycle. The average person has between 90 and 120 natural lashes per eye and the aim is to lash all of these at a full set. Each eye sheds approx. 2-5 lashes every day. Therefore in 1 week around 21 lashes are lost, 42 lashes lost at 2 weeks and about 63 lashes are lost by 3 weeks. Due to this natural lash cycle, it is recommended that infills are carried out 2-3 weeks after your initial full set in order to keep your lashes looking full.

What does a full set application consist of?

In order to carry out the application of a full set of lash extensions, a client must first have a patch test performed at least 24 hours prior (new clients only). This is to prevent the chance of any reaction to the lash adhesive. If there is no reaction to the patch test, you will arrive for your lash appointment and after a prompt initial consultation will lie on a massage bed for two hours with your eyes closed while as many lashes as time permits are applied to your natural lashes. After a two hour nap, you will wake up with luscious full eyelashes!

How do I care for my new lashes?

For the first 24 hours after application, you must not get the lashes wet (including sauna/steam room). You will be provided with an eyelash comb and after this period you should make sure to comb your lashes daily and avoid rubbing or pulling the lashes. Only water-based makeup remover should be used on/near the lashes as oils will break down the adhesive and cause the lashes to become detached and fall out. In order to extend the life of your lashes, you should schedule infills for every 2-3 weeks.

How do I book an appointment?

Scheduling an appointment at a convenient time for both you and I could not be easier. Simply click on the link below (full set or infills) and select a time and date to suit you. You will then fill in some basic contact details in order to receive reminders (via SMS and email) for your appointment. The option is available to pay via PayPal (debit/credit card) for those that don't wish to pay by cash at the appointment - note that this is completely optional and if you'd like to pay by cash select 'Pay later' when given the option. If you are a new client, please contact me directly to arrange a patch test at least 24hrs prior to appointment. Contact details are provided below.

Full set - £40 (2 hour appointment).

Infills (2-3 weeks) - £25 (1 hour appointment).

Lash removal - £5 (30 minute appointment).

EMERGENCY FULL SET LASH APPOINTMENTS - for lash application on weekday evenings or with less than 24 hours notice. Please contact directly for availability. All emergency lash sets are charged at £50 per set or £30 for an infill appointment.
